My passion for teaching started when I was a AmeriCorps Vista Fellow with College Possible, an organisation dedicated to helping students from diverse backgrounds be accepted to college. This first experience guided me to a path that combined my passions for teaching, languages, and music around the world. I was selected J. William Fulbright Scholar in Portugal and recipient of the Portuguese Science and Technology Award for my Phd in Cultural Studies at the Catholic University of Portugal in Lisbon for my research “Remaking: The Reshaping of Sound in Portuguese Musical Comedies”.

I teach engaging and interactive music and language classes on Outschool. I specialise teaching the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and French. I also teach clarinet lessons from beginner to advanced, music theory, and music appreciation.
